Yoga at Hanover Park

Come join us for a Saturday morning yoga class with Kim Crawford in The Gallery at Hanover Park on September 23rd and October 14th. Class will begin at 10am and last for about an hour.  The cost will be $15 per session, which will include a glass of wine afterwards. Florida Refugees and Other Things

  September 15, 2017 On Wednesday afternoon two couples came in.  They said they were Florida refugees from Irma.  They chose Winston-Salem to stay for a few days as they had had a hard time finding a place.  They were pleasantly surprised at how much they enjoyed our town.  They did not realize we had wine in North Carolina and how nice everyone was around here.  We enjoyed our visit with these folks, our Florida refugees. The Studio at Hanover Park

Every building on the farm has a name.  The old barn near the road is Deborah’s Barn.  Years ago Deb was going to fix up the upstairs for a weekend place.  Deborah’s Barn also held many barrels of wine years ago before the winery was built. Harvest

Friday August 25, 2017 This year marks the start of our 19th harvest at Hanover Park.  Our first harvest in 1999 was very small.  We used an Italian basket press we had bought up in Virginia along with some fermentation bins and a hand crank crusher distemper.  Times have changed and we enjoy using the equipment we have now.  These items get used for about 6 weeks and are cleaned up and put away for another year.
